Painting Tank start-finish

I don't think that's a topic that can be answered on a forum post. You could devote an entire book to the subject, and in fact there are several available. There are a lot of very talented people on this forum who will be glad to help you, but I think you are going to have to narrow your question down some.

in addition to Scotts comment, you probably would get a much better answer on the Armor topic.. I know it's confusing but most of the people who check this topic (painting etc...) tend to be aircraft modelers... There's some absolute experts on painting armor in that topic...

sheesh, thats a heavy question. go to your local barns n nobels, this month in some british model magazine "military in scale" (i think. there were like three different mags), it features a british cromwell's painting process and it was very detailed on the steps. n also check online for these tips. missing-lynx has a bunch of techniques listed on their site.
