Does masking pose a problem with Alclad II?

Next time I do a metallic finish I'll probably go with Alclad II. I've heard it stands up to masking better than Testors Metallizer. Can you mask over an Alclad surface without any problems?

Thanks,

Dave

nope!! one of the beauties of the product IMO. like anything else, just make sure you allow proper drying time before masking. heck, i've masked off alclad a couple of hours after application and had no problems. i'll admit, i did roll the dice though, not recommended. later.

Salty, thanks for the reply. I wonder why Testors doesn't make a more durable version of their Metallizer?
