Just bought an Omni 4000!!

I can't wait til it gets here. I have a Badger 150, but it's so annoying to have clean that cup for every color. At least with the Omni 4000, I can just run the cleaner through it. Or at least that's what I'm hoping. Also, I'm thinking that the gravity feed will be a nice change, perhaps get a little better detail by being able to use lower pressures. We will see. I'm sure my Badger will still come in handy for some things. Just wanted to share my joy. :)

You'll enjoy it. That's the one I pick up for the bulk of my painting. Your 150 might paint a slightly finer line, my 100 does and it's basically the same as a gravity feed 150, but for most painting I still reach for the 4000.

Holy smokes, there must be something wrong with my Badger 150. This Omni 4000 paints sooooo much better. I don't get any spitting or grainy spray. The paint just seems so much smoother. And it seems like I can control the paint flow soo much easier. Perhaps that is the gravity feed doing it. I don't know. All I know is I LIKE IT! Much easier to switch between colors also, IMO.

Oh, BTW, the Badger 150 was given to my by my mother. She had it a while, but I'm sure she took good care of it. And I have always cleaned the heck out of it also. Although it has always painted relatively ok, the Omni just seems so much better and so much easier.

I've had mine for a year now, and I love it. It was the first AB I ever bought so I'm still learning how to really use it, but my F4U-1A is the best finish I have ever done.Big Smile [:D]Thumbs Up [tup]
