Start with your coarse sandpaper (I usually start with 360 while others recommend 400) and work down to your finest (1200/1500 is where I end up on sandpaper) and then polish it out with rubbing compound. It takes some work but when you get finished the plastic has a polished surface.

Sanding for metalizers

I can't get by without sanding my plane before adding a metalizer to it. Whats the best way to make sure I get the scratches out so it won't look bad?
