Drybrushing Ship Deck
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 11, 2005 10:40 PM
I'm building a 1/350 Trumpeter Sovremenny class destroyer. There are alot of raised details on the deck such as chocks. My first decision was to go through a few hours masking every detail and then spraying with a can. I don't have the option of an airbrush at the moment. My other option hopefully could be drybrushing the raised details. I was wondering if:
1. Will drybrushing be able to cover the raised detail not just highlight the edges?
2. I have mostly tamiya paints and I imagine the tamiya paints would dry to quickly to drybrush. What brand would be better for drybrushing?
