Ran out of Tamiya masking tape, the only thing I had was the 3M blue, masked up the side of the Victory hull to redo the ocre bands, lifted it up, and up it came along with the flat black underneathCensored [censored]

OK, gently breath in and out, put the model down......

And take anotjer look at it tomorrow, maybe it's not that bad.

It happens to every modeller, something goes bad, you want fix it and make it worse (just have a look at my post about using a dremel on a finished model)
So the best thing it to leave the model, and look at it another day.

Oh, I've left it alone, I don't work on stuff when I'm angry, lol learnt that lesson many years ago.
No, gonna order some Tamiya tape, and start again, poor bloody model will have more coats of paint than the original, lol

I have an Me 109 that just won't take paint. I swear it's the weirdest thing. I have cleaned, primed, painted, masked, peeled, re-painted, peeled, re-masked, re-painted, etc. etc. for a total of six attempts! The masking tape (super low tack t the point of useless) still bring the paint off in small sheets. I ended up stripping the whole kit, cleaning it AGAIN, re-painting, re-masking, peeling... still paint WILL NOT STICK! It is stashed away as a modern mystery of the modelling world. The only reason that this little bird didn't take it's maiden voyage was that I have about 30 bucks worth of extras that I will some day cannibalize.
