does anyone know of a cheaper version of the tamiya surface primer? They're too pricey at 8 bucks and I'd rather buys krylon big cans and decant them to be able to airbrush them. please advise
Thankx you all

I've used Krylon, and others have used the variety found in the auto store with success... about $4 for a really big bottle that way...

which one do you use and can you decant it in a airbrush bottle to airbrush it on? I don't trust the can spray . splotches, uneven spray patterns, etc...

i'd use games-workshop primer it's about $10-$15 depending where you live and comes in a fairly large can and should last you a while. if it looks and feels grainy after it's sprayed on thats completely normal

hope it helps
