Vallejo Airbrushing Question
Posted by paradox01 on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 4:26 PM
I'm about to airbrush vallejo paint for my first time on 1/35 scale armor. What is the best way to airbrush it? Dilute with water I'm assuming....but whats the best mixture? 50/50? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Vallejo recommend 10 to 15% thinning with either distilled water or their thinner (their thinner is GREAT) but either way estimate the drops you put in the paint cup and then divide by 10... so 20 drops paint to 2 drops water, or 3 drops if not thin enough.

What type of airbrush are you using? It's better to err on the side of 15% thinner than not enough...

I'm using a badger 200 and have had great results airbrushing tamiya and model master. But my first attempts at vallejo have err....not been great. I don't have their thinner so I'll try the distilled water. I'm open to any other tips.
