Yellowing of white
Posted by Bones-coa on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 7:41 PM
Modelers, I have an older spray can of MM white paint that has somewhat yellowed in the can. This surprised me as I thought exposure to air and sun caused white to yellow. I guess that's not the case.

I did some seaching and didn't find much except some mention of adding a small amount of blue to the white. I have a real difficult time believing that would help. I have the option to use Tamiya acrylic white or MM enamel white. I'm not sure which is best but would like to prevent the yellowing.

Is there an answer as of now on how to prevent this?

Thanks.
