MCW lacquer Question

MCW lacquers usually need to be polished after they're applied. MCW sells a liquid polish called "Buff Ez" (I think) that will bring it up to a high gloss.

You might also try Tamiya's polish or Novus No. 2 plastic polish.

Thanks Matthew,if I've been a good boy,my 72 SS ElCamino will respond to your hint of polishing.I'm guessing it wouldn't hurt to give it 48 hours to dry completely.I love this site !!!

You might check the thinner - a while back I painted a repair I did to an airframe and the gloss white dried to a dull finish and we couldn't understand it. DuPont Enamel, Dupont Enamel Reducer - then we noticed it was Acrylic Enamel reducer - got the proper Enamel Reducer, sanded down and reshot surface. And the resulting coat dried Gloss. You may have the same problem.
