QUOTE: could you use Createx for 100 lg gun?

Read the label. Createx has many different types of paint for everything from fiberglass and metal to paper and fabric. If the paint is for paper and fabric it expects something porous and probably won't stick well to styrene. If it's for plastic it probably would.

Some of the more popular ones out there are:

Tamiya Acrylics
Vallejo Acrylics
Color of Eagle Acrylics (made by Vallejo)
MM Acrylics
Polly Scale
Floquil
MM Enamels
Gunze

I know I missed a lot but I can't think of them all right now. I would find out what is available to you locally and try them out.

The Createx acrylics I am not sure on, I know they are more art type acrylics for Tshirts and posterboard and such. I would look more into true modeling paint, although I have heard of some people using the art type paints with a primer and a reterder with success.

I use Tamiya paint because they are water based, so there is no smell, and no messy clean up, just water, they are also very easy to thin - I use water.

There are tons out there, you just ne to find what works for you.
