Model Master paint conversion
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 1:26 PM
Does anyone know what the equivalent Tamiya, Revell, Humbrol or Gunze paint is of Model Master #2731 Chevy Engine Red? If not, does anyone know if there is a conversion table for Model Master paints? Any help would be much appreciated.Smile [:)]

I don't know of any conversion charts for MM car colors. MM produces Chevy Engine Red as an Acrylic, an Enamel, and a Lacquer. If you can't get hold of MM Chevy Engine Red then just use a really bright red.

This is a pretty complete cross reference website
http://www.airmodel.sk/english/topcolor.html

Not that there is a cross reference for Chevy Engine Red!

Can you get Krylon paints? They make a Chevy Orange (which is how I remember the colour, not red...). I think Caswell stocks them in the UK.

So long folks!
