I checked the head assemblies, trigger and the little piece behind it and they are interchangable so the rest of the internals probally are too. I think some of the older Model A's have larger diameter bodies. The Model A I have is very close to my Badger100 sidefeed. Good luck,
John

Thanks - I'll have to get me a couple of spare fine 100 needles - I've got another older T&C on the way, complete with the "velvet' lined case. Sure wish there was a way to date them via s/n or something. Anyway, they're fun to fiddle with.

You can use a badger 100series needle in your model A but make sure it is the fine needle. I have both airbrushes and will check to see if the head assemblies can swap out, I think they can as the Badger 100 is a virtual copy of the Model A

I've been cruising ebay for older airbrushes just for the fun of it, and have recently added a Wold A1, A Paasche "F" model with a green handle, and a not-quite-so-old T&C "A". The T&C came with a bent needle tip (the bane of all e-bay airbrushes.. - don't buy cheap if you expect them to work like new). I managed to straighten the tip (at least to a naked eye) by rolling the needle between a metal ruler and my desktop, but still don't have high hopes for it. The tip itself seems to be ok, but I'll have to get out a magnifier to be sure.

The T&C is pretty much the same construction as a Badger 100 or 150, from what I can see - will any of the Badger parts interchange? I'd like to get the T&C spraying again just for the fun of it, but my recent parts list from Badger only shows parts for the Vega series of T&C airbrushes.

Also - an e-mail to Paasche got a reply that stated they used the green handles in the '50's. Is there a reference anywhere with serial no / mfg date for airbrushes? I'd also like to figure out when my first Badger 200 was made, I can't remember for sure when I got it (jr. high school, I think..). It's got the older "cigar" shaped handle vs. the newer straight tapered one.
