Paasche H and Badger 100 comparison w/ mottles
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, September 3, 2005 7:23 PM
Although I know there are some who can do wonders with a Paasche H, I just can't get that good with it so went to Badger 100. Here's a couple of Hasegawa 1/32 Bf109 for you to see the difference. Yellow 1 is done with Paasche and Yellow 7 is with Badger. I also want to note that the original mottles were too small so I had to go back and made them bigger. I wouldn't have been able to get anywhere close to them with the Paasche.

Looks good Dude!!! the H can do some good painting and I have seen some of that here, but that Badger 100 is so much more versatile! Don't get rid of that PAasche though I suspect you'll still have a need for it.. I have a Badger 175 that backs up my new HP-CR, I don't use it much but when I do it is a winner! (the 175)

Congrats on the new brush!!!

Certainly looks good from where I'm standing.

I use a 100 as well for detail work with an Omni 4000 for everything else. I think it comes down to the right tool for the job.
