Mmm everytime I spray future on a metal coat it makes it dull? I only do one coat tho maybe I should try 3 coats?

Sorry not trying to jack your thread Blush [:I]

It can be masked over and paint will also stick to it. Decals also go on and stick very well without the yellowing or slivering.

Help with MM metalzers

I have never used the MM buffing metalizers for more than landing gear etc. but am about to do the underside of the wings on a FW 190 and I have heard it said that it is a somewhat delicate surface. How so? Once it is sprayed and buffed, what must be done to “protect” it enough for weathering and washes? How well does it mask… if at all? Do I use Future or clear lacquer? Confused [%-)]

I had a sheet of Bare Metal foil that I had bought ages ago to try and finally did last night on the LG doors. It was Ok but not great but I do see the potential there and have seen others have excellent results. I guess I need to learn a bit more about technique and surface prep before trying again and any links to articles in this regard will be appreciated.
