airbrushing enamel over cured acrylic primer

I have just airbrushed my Kingfisher w/ Polly S acrylics and let it set for 48 hrs. Can I now airbrush enamel over that?? A similar question was asked earlier in the forum but does not answer this question specifically enough for me.
