Both of your options would be a good choice. When using an airbrush the coats should be sprayed lightly with ample drying time left in between coats. Don't try and get full coverage with only one coat.

New to airbrushing. Could use some advice.

Hello folks.
I started airbrushing a plastic model car yesterday.
I painted the body blue and it's darker in some places than it is in others.
I've only put one coat on it so far.
Should I put another coat on to even it out more?
Should I lightly sand it between coats?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
