Gunze Airbrush
Posted by archangel571 on Thursday, October 6, 2005 1:31 AM
Hey, anyone even heard of anything remotely about Gunze Sanyo's series of Procon airbrushes? They look kinda nice, and quality-wise they are from the same manufacturing company for Iwata and Tamiya ab, so that pretty much says all about them. The price is pretty low for the 0.2mm nozzle size double action brush with preset handles, just like the superfine HG from Tamiya, so now my plan to get a iwata HP-C plus brush for my general purpose brush had been shaken. Anyone got any opinions on this?

Make sure you can get parts without having to order them from the factory. *IF* it is the same as an Iwata it should be able to use Iwata parts which are relatively easy to find. I would want to know for certain that it would before I bought it though.

Okay. Yeah, having the replacement parts will be helpful. Especially since I have the Tamiya Super Fine right now but have yet to bend the needle and pushing myselt to figure about if that 0.2mm nozzle is the same as the one from the Iwata HP-B/BH/BP. Maybe I am gonna go bother J-Hulk/Brian to see if he has anyway of finding that out in Japan. The web as of right now offers no help in this!..

Hi,

In terms of parts for Tamiya or Gunze you may buy them on www.rainbowten.co.jp (there is english version as well).

I have bought a nozzle for HG without any problem.

I also think about purchase of Procon Trigger LWA for larger paintings.

Coast Airbrush has Tamyia airbrushes and parts-no need to order them from Japan.
