Posted by Tigertankman on Sunday, October 9, 2005 8:01 PM
Ok heres the rundown,

I was messing with it, and all the sudden, the handle pops off, the part that lets you control airflow, I have a Passche Double Action Internal Mix AB, can you help at all? I just need a set of instructions for putting this thing back together or something, I mean, the thing still goes back in, but I doesnt go up and down like it used to, HELP!Sad [:(]

It sounds like you 4got to put the spring or auxiliary lever back in Alex.
These are the parts, see the spring of course, the flat wavy trhing is the auxiliary lever, kinda keeps the main lever, trigger, in place, the spring pushes it against the trigger, don't vacuum, it might be on the floor!!!

When u find it put the trigger back in, then the aux lever, the flat thing, make it face in this direction, the bulge facing the spring, rear.

You have to pull back on the back of the airbrush with the handle off and insert the trigger back into the hole it goes into.
It is kind of hard with the Paasche's as they pivot.
I don't know why they didn't go to a solid trigger like Badger and the others.

Here's a link to some pages on the paasche website that might be of some help, too

http://www.paascheairbrush.com/part_sheets2003.html

click on that link, scroll down the page to find the instruction sheets for the VL, and there's a drawing in there that shows how it all goes together.

Do you see the flat piece in there behind the trigger?? if it is there then do like MikeV said and pull back on the Back of your AB with the handle off!
And be sure the little tip on the bottom of the trigger is facing down, I don't know 'bout Paasche AB but should be sorta the same, Mike said yours swivels, so make sure u pull back to give it room then carefully insert that tip into the opening , u should see it straight down there, the tip is prolly flipping up on you as you put it in.
Have you looked at the site Fizzwater gave you?? I just did, looks great!!! It should help u alot!!!

If it doesn't work like it did before then it is not fixed.

I have the same airbrush and have probably disassembled and reassembled it for cleaning a hundred times--the little spring under the trigger pin does not fall out easily. Did you make sure the little swivel pin on the trigger mechanism is seated in the hole inside the airbrush body? You should be able to feel the spring as you push the trigger up and down, before reassembling the rest of the airbrush.

Well I guess I am missing a spring, the AB works though, it may not be fixed, but it works.
