.. do you like hand brush on a primer color or airbrush it on?

i spray mine with a rattle can cause my cheep... self won't buy an airbrush yet. I think if you use a brush to put the primer on with it will leave brush strokes and it will make it harder to see if there are imperfections or if its the paint

Brush strokes will probably show if you use a brush. I've heard of lots of folks who spray can primer. I prefer the control and finish of airbrushing primer since I can ensure a thin and even basecoat. This allows me to easily see imperfections and it doesn't fill in panel lines as much.

Silver paint brush painted just on the seams works good. Most of the time silver is very thin to start with so brush strokes don't show up.

I airbrush them. I never hand paint anything that I can use an airbrush on.
