I see that this is your first post, so welcome.
An airbrush is a must for any large painting project. The type depends on you. Look through some of the other posts related to air brushes for many answers. Get one that you feel comfortable with. Don't go by manufacturers claims. Their job is to get you to buy their air brush. Talk with other people and find out which air brush they use, the pros and cons of that brush. But most of all, when you do get one, learn how to use, and clean it. Practice, practice and more practice.
