Put down the AB. Take a deep breath. DO NOT DULLCOTE A CANOPY. Nuff said.

Future should help clear up the dull as well...

---edit---

but may I echo the sentiments of the above posts... wait till you get some tape... even painters masking tape or such from Wal Mart can cover the canopy so you can dullcoat over it..

Mog-don't dull coat clear stuff-if you have there are plastic polishes available at your LHS.

Yeah. A flat canopy, possibly partially opaque or frosty looking as well! All that work in the cockpit for nothing!

You have gotten this far, why mess it up because you're in a hurry? Model building doesn't usually involve a race.

In a pinch, you might be able to lay damp tissues over the canopy. The water will keep the tissue in place.

Most likely you are going to get a dull, flat canopy. Flat finishes don't care what they are sprayed over, glossy or flat, you wind up with a flat finish.

As the title says, if I dullcoat a future treated canopy, what do i end up with semi gloss canopy? Im near the end of a project, outta tape, and gotts do this tonite. Im either gonna just shoot dullcoat right over the canopy or stop shooting dullcoat when I get to the nose of the aircraft. I just dont know.
