This is a tough question because I have yet to see two russian tanks (wwII or modern) that look the same shade of green anyways. I do like the Modelmaster Russian armor green but it is a little too "blue" though. I have never used it straight. I either darken, lighten or tint it somehow. Here are some examples and you'll see what I mean.

left - darkened with black, right - lightened with tan

mixed with brown - the russian armor green is there but barely

I know this doesn't help any but glad to add to your confusion Tongue [:P]

Modern Russian Armor Green

Can the ModleMaster enamel Russian Armor Green (Gen II) be used to paint a T55? or is it just for WWII armors?

If not what color should I try to use for the T55 or even the wwII tanks? based on looking at Russian Armor Green it seems a whole lot lighter and greener than the olive drab that it usually is in. Need some suggestions.
