I had some advice given to me on another forum. I was told to soak the canopy in Simple Green for a time. I tried it and it worked great. I have since repainted my zero's canopy and it looks great. I did not leave any scratches either!!

and if you do get a little scratch in the Future or plastic Jay, a little more future brushed on gently will clear it back up!

---edit---

if you do have to cover a scratch with future just coat the whole affected pane with a brush, just covering the scratch might leave a raised area.

I use a tooth pick but not sharpen,I use the blut in or pear it down to a flat chaesel edge.
This works great and will not mark up the clear parts.Digger

Removal of Paint From Clear Parts?

To anyone, a question: what is the best way to remove overspray from clear canopies where the mask lifted a bit? I've heard a sharpened toothpick works. I ask cuz I just know that I'm going to need it on my zero's birdcage, there are a few spots where the mask is lifting. Thanks in advance.
