First AB job

Jurgen Good to hear your first AB experience was a good one.

I'm like Sean, I hate using brushes for any areas bigger than a pin head!!!!! As you get used to your AB, you'll find working on small areas pretty easy.

Actually with some practice you'll be surprised at how easy it becomes.

I simply hold my airbrush at an acute angle and aim it towards the wheel bays and give them a fine mist coat.
I do this 3 or 4 times, then apply a slightly heavier coat, and it's done!

Seems like a bit of a hassle, but I hate using brushes, so it works for me!

As for dry paint flakes, I never strain my paint, but after mixing I let it stand for around 5 minutes or so, this lets the heavier bits settle, and then I pour it into the airbrush, but leavce a little bit in the bottom where all the paint flakes would be.
