crooked aztek nozzle?
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, November 4, 2005 8:55 AM
i've been getting a bit of uneven paint buildup with the red nozzle, it basically globs up on one side of the tip. it's not catastrophic and works fine until the glob gets too big but it made me wonder. yesterday i took apart the tip to clean it and noticed that the small tip that the needle is inside of is actually cut slanted which explains why the paint is getting out more to one side than all the others. is this a defect or did i mess it up? can i just sand it down to make it straight or is that not advisable?

btw, i thought the needles were supposed to be stainless steel, the one in the red nozzle definitely looks like plastic...

The red one is plastic. Don't sand it.
