I never move paint directly from the bottle to the paint as I usually add some extender/retarer thinner mix to it.

Do to this I often use pallettes and or small metal trays. Transfering the paints from the trays is easy as those got small spouts or I use large pipettes.

Those metal trays I get from a friend in Japan who ships me some every few month, plus some other supplies I learned to love. Very cheap as they only cost a few cents a tray.

For major coverage/painting, I pre-mix the thinned paint in a seperate jar and use a straw or pipette to transfer to the airbrush. For smaller jobs I just add the paint and thinner (still using a straw) to the airbrush cup seperatly (counting drops).

The best place to buy pipettes is from a science supply store.  They sell them in huge packs, but they are extremely cheap.  They also are graduated and have markings on them so you can measure near exact amounts.  Just search the internet for pipettes or science supply store and you should be able to find some really cheap.  You can also ask your science teacher if she'll give you some or you can ask if you could buy some.

You can also use straws, but I find this to be a pain.  It's hard to keep the whole top of the straw covered.
