Help with distressed winter camo
Posted by wing_nut on Friday, November 11, 2005 12:01 AM
The Bf 109 I am building calls for a distressed winter camo.  I know this was a temporary paint job to menat to come easier, and from what I read... it did.  Wore off pretty nicely.  I am looking for some ideas/pointers on how to accomplish a weathered, distressed white camo on a 109.

Glosscoat, decal, glosscoat, apply titanium white watercolor straight from the tube with just a touch of water mixed in using a q-tip. Let dry then use a dry q-tip to scrub off some of the white, flat coat....you can use Polly Scale clear flat but thin it with alcohol and mist it on.
