Airbrush Problem- No Paint Flow!
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, November 13, 2005 4:56 PM
I have an Aztek GP100 I got around 1992.  I mainly use my Badgers, but the Aztek always worked fine when I needed it.  All of a sudden, it is not siphoning paint from the jar.  The airflow seems fine, I've taken apart the tip and it's clean, I've tried other tips, but nothing.  If I unscrew  the jar, there is no suction from the straw attatched to the airbrush.  Nothing seems clogged, everything looks normal, but no paint!

Any ideas?

is the head tight enough?  I used to have an Aztec and if the head wasnt tightened tight enough it wouldn't suck paint... same symptoms..  try that little wrench but don't tighten it too tight!  Loosen it first then turn it till finger tight then 1/4 turn with the wrench should do it.  May 1/4 more if it still doesn't pick up the paint.

Unfortunately that didn't fix it.  Thanks for the suggestion, though!
