Is this a Badger airbrush?

Just an update on this brush. I got a hold of John (who works for Badger) and he told me that it looks like a 150. He did say that Badger does not sell any of their brushes to CH. He thinks this is a Chinnese or Korean version of it. Either way, it works descent enought until I upgrade to a better one. I wanted an Aztek, but after all the hype and several days that have passed by, I am leaning towards a Badger Crescendo or the Paasche VLST-PRO. I like the bigger barrel because I am used to working with commercial sprayers.

Some times manufacturers will offer their products to another company as a sales gimmick. This might be one of those. I bought a Black & Decker sander several years ago. Included with it was a Dremel Mini-Mite. It came with no acessories, but I had plenty from my other Dremel tool.

Just because the air brush is cheap doesn't make it junk. I could very well be a Badger 150 sold by Campbell-Hausfeld. They may have a license agreement with Badger.

It does look like a Badger 150 as others here mentioned.

I would email Campbell-Hausfeld and ask them who makes it for them.

It actually works ok. I bought it several years ago and this is my first brush. I have been giving it some use latelty and I am getting the hang of it. Not bad for a "cheap" brush. My post was mainly driven to find out what model number it was.

I like how you slid in that Aztek crack.
I would tend to agree with Merlin in that it may be a cheap copy and not work very well at all which means you will have to buy another one. I don't understand why people consider these too good to be true deals on airbrushes and yet you would never find most modelers skimping on the kits they buy and the tools they use for their hobby.
Even a very well made airbrush is only going to cost you the price of about 5 or 6 model kits which is not much in my opinion. If you want to spend the least amount possible then buy the Paasche H airbrush from Dixie Art for $45.

Although I don't care for single-action airbrushes, this is about the cheapest route to go for a quality airbrush.

Dixie offers the Badger 150 set for $69.95 and you can hardly beat their prices. That's what makes me real suspicious about this.

$32 dollars will buy the kit as you see it. I already have a 30 gal compressor by the same manufacturer. This kit at one time was sold at Wallymart. I have one of the kits, but I really do not know if it is a Badger. It is sold under the Campbell-Hausfeld name. I would really like to find out if it is a Badger and what model. You can go to the Campbel-hausfeld site and do a search for part number 2900 which will take you to this kit.

If it is the Badger 150, which it looks like, you got a steal for only $32. Was that with the compressor and air brush?
