Vallejo paint..
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 5:12 PM
Just bought two bottles of this paint to try (one black one white), tried the black it went on great, the paint gave excellent coverage.
I bought the 'model color' type which is for brush painting but there is also 'model air' in this range for airbrushing- anyone tried the airbrushing type?Wink [;)]

I tried vallejo paint (called "prince august air" in France), and it works well, even if I prefer Humbrol enamels.

Great stuff with a lot of variety available. Good value for the money as well.

Vallejo Paints are the acrylic paints of the future I think. The general acrylic paint line they offer are amazing. They brush on nicely and leave little to no brush streaking when properly thinned. Their Model Air line is just as great. It doesn't have the bite as Tamiya acrylics IMO, but they cover better with successive passes of the airbrush. I highly recommend them.

I obtain my Vallejo paints through a local hobby shop, but I know VLS now offers them to order on their site.

Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Cheers
