Model Masters Chrome Silver?

For using Model Master Meatalizer finishes it is recomended to spray the model with MM Metalizer sealer from what i can tell the paint acts like a powder coat and rubs off vary easly i use the none buffing paint. I shoot the model and try to get all the model coverd use a model stand if you have one if not try to make one thers a thread on here some where, as soon as you get the model painted let it dry for a couple hours dont touch it then shoot it with the sealer that should cure your problem.

So, the chrome silver is considered a metalizer paint?  If so then I have been doing it all wrong. I just assumed it was a typical enamel. 

If its a metalizer it should say so on the can. if its in a bottle the bottles should say for air brushing only and you need to seal it. If its just chrome paint id sujest gwtting some latex gloves or cotton gloves for some strange reason the oil in our hands has a nasty effect on chrome style paints.

I was using the Chrome silver (non-metallizer type) the other day and found it did fairly similar to what you are talking about.  I would give it 3 or 4 days minimum before trying to touch it.  The silver on your hand is normal for that type of paint.

For all my NMF finishes on fuselages I use Alclad2 now.  Stuff goes on easy and dries very quick.  Best of all there is no rub off, and to an extent it can even be masked over etc...  Best thing is you can use Future over it with no dulling or change of the finish.

I also would give it a day or two in between coats.  If it goes on too thick over still not dried paint I imagine the circumstances would be the same (re: sticky paint)
