alright, i tried doing this for the first time a few days ago. i learned how to do it by watching brett green's video on the testor scale workshop site. i think i've got the technique down. ( not much to it anyway ) i ran the wash into all the panel lines; it worked well and i had no problems. i went back to clean up, after allowing it to dry, and all the lines i washed weren't even looking. the oil paint dried with spaces in between almost like a dashed line. i had to go back over all the lines four times, like above, before i had a consistent paint distribution in the panel lines. i don't remember brett saying that it would work out like that. i'm using Winsor & Newton: Winton Oil Colours and Gemini Masterpiece thinner. so what do ya'll think? i basically have no idea what i'm doing and any help will be greatly appreciated.
