Karl is right Future can be brushed on without any problems, however my questions is why?  you and apply decals right over the top of MM Metalizer without worrying about silvering.  If you want to apply a wash then just use a sludge wash which won't harm the metalizer.

If you really need to seal the Metalizer to mask it then you can buy MM Metalizer Sealer in a rattle can from your LHS.

Cheers

You could always brush paint Future.

Due to it's self levelling qualities it goes on well with a brush.

Clear-coat options

Quick question:  What would be the best product to use as a clear-coat over Testor's Metalizers aluminum paint?  I know Future is the ideal way to go, but I don't have an airbrush (yet) and so I'm limited to the spray bomb option for the time being.  I will need to place decals over the clear, and then shoot clear over the decals, so would standard Wal-mart clear spray paint work, or should I go for something more specialized?

Thanks for any input.
