anyone with badger 360/iwata smart jet pro?

Just kidding. That's really all you'll need to get started. The Iwata compressor has everything you need and is an excellent choice. I assume you have the proper hose to fit your Badger? If not, keep your fingers crossed. The Iwata compressor I bought came with adaptors for all types of airbrushes.

I'm sure you will add to your setup as you go - we all do....

The compressor won't come with a hose.  The airbrush may but the compressor won't.  Even if it did I don't think an Iwata hose will fit a Badger airbrush.

No it will not Scott.
Iwata uses a bigger thread size on the airbrush than Badger.

Thanks guys - so let me get this straight.  I have seen online the compressor bundled with a 10 foot hose, but am I correct that the thread size will likely differ on the iwata hose?  So then I'll need an adapter from hose to airbrush?  That stinks!  Are these a home depot sort of purchase, or let me guess, do I have to order the darn thing online?  That would also stink.  I called the Dixie art people after placing the order to make sure it should be altogether ready to roll, but they sounded slammed with the holidaze so maybe they weren't altogether correct.  Anyone with any ideas?  I'm gonna die if I get my new AB/compressor and I can't use it because of different thread sizes.  I hate incompatability issues of this sort between rival equipment manufacturers!  Thanks again

jcfay: keep your fingers crossed. Like I said, I have an Iwata compressor and it came with the hose, and all the necessary adapters. Mine was the PowerJet though, and that's a lot more money than yours. I would call Dixie Art and ask what's in the box. They should know. If there is no adapter, either get one from Dixie Art, or buy a Badger hose.

Mike and Rich - thanks.  Mike - didn't order a hose, read online somewhere that the iwata came with one (not on Dixie Art's webpage, but another airbrush sales website that had more detailed specs on the compressor).  I didn't know, however, that different manufacturers used different thread sizes.  So I guess I'll find out tomorrow when the thing arrives.  Hopefully it will be bundled with a hose and adapter, otherwise I order a Badger hose but then wouldn't I need an adapter between the (Badger) hose and the (Iwata) compressor?  Still looking forward to spraying!  Thanks all

No,  the Badger hose and the Iwata hose are both 1/4" NPT threads on the compressor end.

Well, received the iwata compressor and badger airbrush today and WOE IS ME, the bundled iwata hose, as predicted, doesn't fit the badger airbrush!  So now I need an adapter.  Any suggestions?  Do they carry something like this in a reasonably large city?  I know the iwata is 1/4" NPT at the compressor (thanks Mike) but I don't know the size of the iwata hose at the airbrush end or the size of the badger airbrush.  If I know the size, maybe I can find something locally.  Thanks all as always

Most any hobby shop or art store should have a Badger hose for you.

You'll have a difficult time finding an adapter to go from Iwata to Badger.  Your best bet, as Mike pointed out, is just to get a Badger hose.  All of their braided hoses have 1/4" NPT fittings on one end to fit standard compressor connections.
