Anyone ever used (brushed) GSI Creos Mr Metal Color paint before?

I use -- and prefer -- Tamiya acrylics. I don't own an airbrush.

My only gripe about Tamiya is their "metal" paints. They are horrible for brush-painting. Not only that, they don't "shine".

For my work-in-progress F-15, I'm thinking of using buffable Creos Mr Metal Color -- Burnt Iron, Iron, and maybe Stainless Steel.

Anyone ever used (brushed) this paint before?

i have used this paint but only airbrushed it. are you using Acrylic GSI? or laquer? use a retarder if you are going to brush paint it.. so it would level out better.

if i may give an opinion, if you are going for a metallic effect don't use the Buffable GSI metallics.. Go for their GSI "Super Metallic Colors" they have the same colors for the buffable ones, plus you can touch the metallic finish afterwards,no need to buff. it's better, shinier, and Chromier.Hope this helps

^Ok. I hope my LHS has them in stock!

I would like to use the lacquers. Is there Mr Metal Color paints in acrylic? I thought they were all lacquers....
