Thanks Smokinguns3,

That was what I needed. I should have known Swanny would have the answers to all my questions.

Question about ALCLAD paint
Posted by emo07 on Friday, December 30, 2005 1:48 PM

Hi,

I will be building the Trumpeter 1/24 scale P-51 Mustang. The markings I chose will be mostly natural metal finish. I have seen posts in the aircraft forums saying their models were finished with ALCLAD for a NMF. My questions are:  special model prep such as primer or no primer ? Do you buff to a shine ? Drying time ?

Thanks for any info !!
