Mitch - I've used enamel and acrylic sucessfully on resin seats and such.  I only primed with the acrylics... enamel sticks to it just fine...

Good luck!

Help w/ Painting Resin
Posted by MA Cooke on Saturday, December 31, 2005 7:36 AM

Hi everyone.

Any suggestions as far as painting resin?  I need to paint the resin wheels for my F-14D; I was thinking that I'd paint (or prime) them all white...then brush the blackish-grey.  I'll use either lacquer or enamels...whichever will "bite" into the resin (if that's possible).

Thanks everyone.

Mitch
