There is a couple ways you can do this

For those type screens. All I do is paint the panel in question silver first. Then get the color of clear paint  I need for the panel.(Tamiya has those clear colors or you can mix future with food coloring) to get the color you need  When the silver has dried just paint the clear color over the top of the silver.

It may take a few coats to do it. The more coats of the clear color you put on the darker it becomes.

Another way is to go to a craft or party supply store. The have either ribbon or little irridecent(sp) stickers you can get real cheap. All you have to do is cut them to shape and white glue them in.

Whichever you decide to do. Putting a "puddle of  Future or gloss coating over it will make a convincing looking screen.

Hope this helped

What kind of mix of colors do you use for that irridescant green and/or orange color of the early radar scopes found on early jet aircraft?
