I was hoping to get by on the fact that the Alclad was pretty smooth. Guess I wasnt that lucky (or maybe my painting skills suck!) Thanks for the info, though Vinny. I'll know for next time!

Thanks Vinny. Upon further reflection, I didn't gloss coat the paint, which is Alclad II aluminum, so maybe that could be part of the issue.

Surface tension is your issue. A drop or two of dish soap should help.

Panel wash

Hey guys, I made a little mix to wash some panel lines on my planes... I'm using water and extra black india ink. The mixture isn't flowing into the panel lines... it just kind of sits there. How can I remedy this? Thanks!
