Thanks for reassuring me.  I was pretty sure I could, but I love the new air brush and I'm being a careful - and nervous- pup with it.

Txks again.

Tis not a problem - airbrushes aren't designed for one particular type of paint.  People have been airbrushing enamels and lacquers since long before acrylics were available.

Using Testors Enamel Paints with a Badger 100LG (Medium) Airbrush

Hello and thanks to all who reply,

I just got this airbrush and love it.  I'm trying different paints - even some hobby/craft paints - to see what works best for my needs.  My question is I've used acrylics a lot and clean up is a breeze.  Even the gloss acrylics seem to clean up easy - but watch out they can dry fast - so I get the air brush under running warm water seconds after I'm done spraying them to prevent clogs.  I can't find a Testors red acrylic gloss that is the perfect shade of red for my current projects so I'm considering using Testors red enamel in the same shade.  I know I'll have to thin the paint.  Can I safely do that with these paints and this model/make of airbrush?  Has anyone done this with this air brush without damaging it?

Thanks again.
