Glass Paint bottles / jar
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, February 2, 2006 12:14 PM

It might seem strange, but I can't find any empty 1/2 or 1oz glass paint bottles here. Online, There is nothing in Canada. And Dixieart don't ship to Canada unless I spend 45$ (and that's over 40 bottles :D)

Do you know a place I could order 6 or 10 bottle online with acceptable shipping ?

Thanks

As a suggestion, depending on how many you need, when I need a "spare bottle", I just buy that type of bottle with thinner in it,and pour the contents into another container.

On the other hand, if you need a good quantity, you can buy empty bottles from Testors:

Hope this helps.

Testor have what I want but:

Currently we cannot ship outside of the 48 continental states or to APO, FPO, and P.O. boxes.

As for the Thinner, it's a good idea for few, but Thinner cost 3.09$ here. I need 6-10 bottle, so over 30$ vs 10$.

Vric,

My LHS carries a five pack of 1/2 oz. Testor bottles and 3 pipettes for $8.95. The local Michael's carries the Badger 3/4 oz bottle as well. Is there a Michael's near you?

Try Udisco Online out of Quebec. They list the 3/4 0z Badger bottle, but not as in stock (#50-0052). I would suppose they would order them for you?

If not I can buy some at the local Michael's and ship them to you, what part of Canada are you living?

edit I knew I have seen empty bottles for sale somewhere, and it took me a while to remember, Micromark!

1/2 oz

1 oz

So long folks!

Thanks for the reply. 10$ of shipping to Canada, but overall it's a good price.

Thanks

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.
