I have found that a product called Easy Lift Off (ELO) which is manufactured for removing decals and paint is very useful in helping maintain my airbrush. I use a small can (Skoal can) to soak the components of the nozzle (spring, needle and nozzle). I also clean the outside of the brush with it. It removes (dissolves) the paint and keeps the nozzle clear of dried paint. I usually fill a small feeder cup with the solution and spray it all out. It is also good to follow the spray with a cupful of clean water to make sure that none of the solution remains in the brush. Keep in mind....it will desolve all paint and can ruin new paint if not completely cleaned out.
