Airbrushing Future Question
Posted by genj53john on Monday, February 13, 2006 7:20 PM
Been applying Future with my Badger air brush for some time now generally without much problem.  However occasionally I've noticed that I get really small dryed bubbles.  These are really small and not noticeable until I lay a decal down.  I'm wondering if I'm getting some drying before the future hits the model just like acyrlics will do.  Any thoughts?  Anybody ever add a drying retardant to future?

I'd try adding a little 90 percent isopropyl alcohol to the Future. Bubbles may be due to contamination, the presence of water (got a water trap in the line?), too rapid drying, or outgasing from the underlying materials. They can also be created by recoating too soon.

Ross Martinek A little strangeness, now and then, is a good thing… Wink
