yes they as long as it was green used it
i saw a picture (b&w) but it had a line of 5 tanks you could see 2 were a diff shade of green in the picture
i wish i could remember where i saw it so i could send you the link tou see for your self
also 2 things
1 several paint co. have a color they call russian armor green it is a rather light olive drab
2 tamiya paints are wonderful paints to use but there color selection is too generic and you got to do a lot of mixing to get the colors right
