The only thing I can think of is preshading, where you spray black on the panel lines and then the external color over it in very light coats so the black makes the panel lines darker.

Using an airbrush for washes - how to?
Posted by usmc1371 on Thursday, March 2, 2006 12:40 PM

Hi all,

I've read in a few places, modelers using their airbrush for washes.  Does anyone have tips on how to do this?  Information such as thinner to paint ratio, psi, working distance, etc would be much appreciated. I would like to give it a try.

Thanks,

Jesse
