Paasche VL
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, March 9, 2006 7:17 PM

i just got a hold of a paasche VL handed down to me by my uncle who recently passed away.. Sad [:(]

anyway is it a good AB? i own a Tamiya HG airbrush which i use often, but the paasche can handle big jobs and small ones because of the different tips. it seems to handle well and it's my first time using a siphon fed as compared to the HG which is gravity. i like the bottles that come with the VL though, it can carry a LOT of paint!  Any advice on Use,Care, and maintenance for the Passche would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

The VL is a very good airbrush and has been called a "workhorse" by many airbrushers over the years.
I started out on one myself. I prefer a thinner bodied airbrush personally but there is nothing wrong with the old VL.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon
