                        I just finished a 1/48 B-1B and sprayed dullcotte on and some went inside and spotted the cockpit window. [:0]

                        Any suggestions on how to remove dullcotte off clear plastic (spotted).Tongue [:P]

                        Acetone may take it off, but test it on a piece of clear sprue first, just to be safe. I would hate to mess up the plastic.

                        No, don't try using acetone, you will absolutely kill it!
                        Probably your best bet is to try sanding it off using progressively finer grades of sandpaper then polish it and give it the Future treatment.

                        Acetone and clear plastic do not mix

                        HEY,
                        I agree with merlin. It happered to me when i was glueing the windsheild on to a car and a little glue got on it. Not much but you could tell. I would think that if it works with glue it will work a dull coat.

                        I bought some of that stuff to spray when i'm done with my current project. Should I spray it on the aircraft without the canopy, and spray a glossy coat for the canopy and then glue it? or just do the whole thing in flat finish?

                        try taking a cotton swab dipped in future floor polish and carefully clean the area - you'll probably want to do all the clear parts because it will be noticably "cleaner" looking
