I'll be testing the combination tonight and post the results.  Ofcourse, if anyone else gives it a go before I do..please report back.  It would be a great revelation if this in fact works, as I so desperately would like to use the Acryls successfully.  The availability and color selection alone would merit a total switch if it does.

I will try DNA with T/MM Acryl and get back with the group here.  God knows I've tried everything else under the sun to get Acryls to work right.

Elfkin - you can't use alcohol with Vallejo, it is a water based acrylic.  It will basically cause it to turn grainy in the paint cup.  (the same thing happens with Tamiya thinners)  You might try some retarder added to the paint, you can get it at art stores and craft places.  Some brands include Liquitex and Goldens.  They are usually are named things like "Liquitex Airbrush Medium" or "Liquitex Acrylic Retarder" (or Golden's depending on which brands are carried by the store).  Just read the bottle and it will say somewhere on it "To slow drying time of acrylics"  That's will help some with the tip dry.  Don't use too much maybe a drop or two or the model will never dry!

That said, the DNA should work fine on the Tamiya and MM.  What does Gunze recommend you thin their aqueous line with?  If it is distilled water, then you'll want to follow the same guidelines as the Vallejo.
