preshading

was hoping that someone more experienced could help.  I am making a 1/32 BF-109G6.  I am starting to paint - I sprayed on Tamiya white primer over the plastic, then preshaded and then for the bottom airbrushed on my RLM 76 - The paint seems a little boltchy and some of the white is showing through.  I was wondering.  Does it make sense to first spray the Tamiya primer, then a coat of RLM 76, then preshade and then RLM 76 again?

Thanks in advance.

try going back with a thinner cup of the RLM 76 and building up the interior of the panels with that color.. your first pass will be all over the surface you are spraying, subsequent passes will fill in the interior of the panel while leaving the panel lines "just shaded enough"... and that is your call on how much is "just shaded enough"  it usually takes a couple of passes to get it both uniform and still see the panel lines a bit...  If the panel lines look too dark you can go over them once or so with the thinned RLM76...
